Hendrix Grey seems like a normal teenage boy, but he has a secret He has nightmares about people dying, and they come true. When Hendrix realizes that his nightmares have attracted the attention of murderous, shadowy creatures called inklings, he has no choice but to run for his life. He manages to escape the inklings with the help of a vampire named Silvanus, but in the process, he is infected with vampire blood. Once infected, Hendrix has just one month left to live before he'll die and change into a vampire. Silvanus is the only one that can keep him from becoming a monster, but in exchange, Hendrix has to hunt vampires and inklings. While Hendrix struggles to control his bloodthirsty instincts and learn the ropes of his new job, he befriends a werewolf named Juliet and a hotheaded pyrokinetic named Flick. The more time Hendrix spends with Juliet, Flick, and Silvanus, the more he realizes that they're not the hunters; they're the ones being hunted.

Welcome To The Afterlife is a very entertaining read. I don't normally read fantasy books like this, but I found Welcome To The Afterlife to be refreshing. An enjoyable departure from stories like the twilight series. Welcome To The Afterlife focuses on a small group of individuals as they build trust in each other and the skills to survive in a secret world that flourishes just out of sight. I would absolutely recommend Welcome To The Afterlife to anyone who enjoys a well written vampire fantasy books.Product details

Welcome to the Afterlife is a wonderfully well written and interesting book. Vampire stories are becoming more common and seem increasingly more and more bland and lifeless over time, however, this book is a great departure from the formula that has been eating away at this genre. The Inklings are a new and unique creature, and meld well with the inclusion of vampires and werewolves, who unlike their more dainty Twilight counterparts, are quite vicious and intimidating. Hendrix is a likeable but troubled protagonist, and the supporting characters and the villains are all well designed and help to pull the reader into this world. Overall, this story would be a great addition to anyone's library, young or old.
I am an avid reader and devour books at an alarming rate. This book sucked me in from the moment I started to read it.
I thoroughly enjoyed "Welcome to the Afterlife". The book is full of superb twists that keep you turning page after page beyond midnight, I couldn't put it down. Characters are super cool and down to earth, and it's amazing how quickly you get completely absorbed into the story and their fight for justice. If you're looking for a great friendship story and exceptional writing, this is it!
